Chris, I found your report most interesting and valuable. When you 
mentioned a very strong signal all but disappearing when looking through 
a modern glass sliding door that was a bit of a shock ! I suspect the 
glass has coatings for reflecting uV radiation and this also may be 
affecting uW signals. Thanks !
